NSWOCC RPN Wound Program team lead: Academic Advisor for the Wound Course in the Wound Ostomy Continence Education Program. Team Leader for Wound Care Course. Academic Advisor for Skin Health Program: skin and wound management course. Cathy currently is part of the Home and Community Care Support Services Champlain team. She performs ostomy assessments, post-operative teaching and troubleshooting of leakage and peristomal skin issues for clients of all ages with fecal and urinary diversions. She has a passion for teaching, learning and exploring the pieces of the client “puzzle” to solve their unique ostomy and wound care issues. Cathy will be discussing hernia prevention, living with a hernia and possible solutions.
